Haul time! and random bits

Hey Honeybees! So I don't know about you girls but when I get bored I have a tendency to shop : / ... A tendency I'm trying to break! In any case the damage is done lol So I thought I'd show ya'll what I got.
I went to Walgreens, TJ Maxx, and Sally's Beauty Supply.

TJ Maxx:

I'm a sucker for cardigans and at 12 dollars I couldn't pass this up!

 I LOVE this dress ahh! It doesn't look like anything special on the hanger but when I put it on,  it flatters my curvy hips, flatters my skintone ( I'm neutral warm skintone) Which sidenote: I find it odd that with my really pale skintone I've got warm tones! I always thought that pale skin was cool toned... shows how much I know haha.

Another dress that doesn't look like anything special until you put it on. Super flattering to my fellow hourglass figured girls ;)

The closest thing i've found to peplum. Hmmph but still cute nonetheless

So I got home only to find I already had walking on eggshells and it was a rude awakening. I've got more makeup than I need! Ahhh that money could seriously be saved up for my trip to Russia or my trip to Vegas next year for my birthday! Shame on me!! Tis the curse of a shopoholic lol.

Simple OOTD

How was your St. Pattrick's Day lovelies?? I'll put up a seperate post on that as soon as I get all the photos uploaded :) Anyway, just a simple OOTD. I always remember my grandmother saying "A woman gets up in the morning, makes herself look beautiful & presentable to the world" and to be honest Bumming in our pajamas growing up was unheard of.So I always hear my grandmothers voice inside my head to give me that little push to not just lounge around in yoga pants on my days off... thank  Mamaw ;) lol

Sallys Haul and Trying out new hair

 Hey honeybees how has your week been? I ran into my local sallys to try to find the Bang thing by Jessica Simpson because I've never had bangs before and wanted to try it out. Sadly, they only had a clip in extension called "Top closure" but Vienna which I had to cut but heyho, it dosen't look too bad... let me know what you guys think. Should I take the plunge and get my real hair cut into bangs?
I also picked up a few other bits.

1. Vienna Top Closure Extension and clips
2. So Gorgeous Root Mousse (Review soon)
3. One n' Only Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner (of which I've only heard good things, I will review it as soon as I can get a feel for it)
4. Femme Couture Prime Wear lip creme in Plum Fairy & Pink Sizzle    

Swatches: Pink Sizzle (On top, opaque creme formula) and Plum Fairy (On bottom. Glaze Formula, with good pigmentation)

Great Pigmentation, slight Yummy vanilla scent reminiscent of  Mac lippies, and great staying power

Bang Extension. Whaddya think, heck yes or heck no lol. Oh and I have Plum Fairy on my lips. <3 This lippie!

St. Pattys Day nails!! I am of Irish, russian and romanian heritage, my maternal grandparents came from Ireland and we basically celebrate all week/end. Watch out for my first "food" tutorial post, I'll be baking Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes! Yum

Sarah Jessica Parker NYC Perfume

Hey Honeybees hope your monday has gone well! Mine has been filled with writing a long letter to my friend Veronica in Russia ( Hey girl!) and being lazy. Yesterday, I popped into my PX and saw they finally got SJP NYC and of course I had no control so I got it haha. I have got to say Mrs. Parker always hits it out of the park when it comes to her perfumes and I love that she is so versatile with her fragrances! To be Honest the only thing I don't like is the packaging, it looks cheap but it smells so nice heyho.

The notes: This fruity-floral fragrance has enriched top notes of mandarin from Italy, white osmanthus and wild strawberries. A heart of SJP NYC incorporates gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa and red Damascena rose, while a base includes vanilla absolute, sandalwood, rum and creamy musk.


What SJP has to say: "A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street and what feelings that evokes for her and for them — a real sense of freedom and possibilities, a love for the city around her and, of course, fashion,” Parker said “We started with this idea that we wanted to create something fun. We wanted to create a party in a bottle and reflect that in the packaging with a real sense of whimsy, fun and joie de vivre. And then we took it from there. Portability and fashion played key roles in the development of the packaging and overall concept.”

My final thoughts: I always feel so lovely and warm wearing this like a warm sunshiney day :) Definitely worth checking out :)

Shopping Haul Pt. 1 Bath & Body Works/review

Hey Honeybees! So I went on a shopping trip and thought I would break it up into multiple posts instead of a huge massive post lol. Bath and Body works ALWAYS lures me in even though I have SO many products that are not even halfway used up lol. They were having their 3 for $24 so I grabbed some scents I didn't have :)

So I wanted to pick up a refill of my coconut lime verbena lotion but sadly it has been discontinued, they only had the perfume. I picked up Aruba Coconut which sadly ins't the same but still good.

                          Then I grabbed sea Island Cotton, I'm still on the fence about this one : /

Then of course the Coconut Lime Verbena perfume (and SJP NYC, which I'll do a separate review)

Be Enchanted Body Butter, it smells like yummy iced pomegranate <3 

So onto the review, the body scrubs are a fairly new product... or new to Tennessee anyway and I have to say I'm not all that impressed. The scrub part is awesome but the scent lasts for about 30 seconds before it turns into this weird "plasticky" smell. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what but combine all that with the fact that you have to use alot of product even to just exfoliate your legs and the $15 price point I don't think I will repurchase.

OOTD ~Starships were meant to fly, hands up and touch the sky~

Hey lovelies!So my bestie who reads my blog ( hi Khlo-bear! lol) had pointed out that the 9 1/2 months that I have been blogging, I have never uploaded an actual OOTD. Partly because I'm just too lazy to take pictures and my hubby always groans when I ask him to take pics so I never ask.It is also partly because of body image... yes, yes I know, accept your body the way it is, have body confidence, love yourself etc. etc. blahh. I think the vast majority of us can say we don't wake up every morning feeling super duper smokin hot lol, but I am slowly and surely improving my body image.

And several attempts of me trying to photograph my makeup, which is nothing special just plain day to day  kind of thing lol

Ahhh yes the kissy face Bahaha... feeling so posh :P

This song has been on repeat in my house and car ahhh can't get enough! lol
