How much does my face cost...

So I decided to do a blog post before I made a video on this.I have to say im pretty impressed that my face dosen't cost all that much lol. Granted I really dread to know how much I've actually spent on cosmetics : / But Some women were mortified to find out that there face cost 200+ just for everyday products and not that that's bad, its just when you're not rolling in money like me its hard to hand over 50+ dollars for a foundation. So let's get on with it. This is My everyday prouducts, granted that alot of days ill throw in a lipstick or lipgloss but these are the products used every day.

Ok SO I know I stated in the previous post that I didn't really like the elf tone correcting concealer but I took the pic before I decided I didn't like it so please excuse that lol

1: Revlon (<3) Photoready foundation in "Ivory 001" (I love this because it moisturizes my face while giving me a dewy look) $11.00

2:Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer in "Ivory 001" (I love this because its just the right consistency) $4.00

3:Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in "Peach Satin 20" (Looks pretty&natural) $7.00

4:Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer in "Sun Glow 20" (Looks natural&not fake or harsh) $7.00

5: Maybelline One by One Mascara in "Blackest Black" (Coats ALL my lashes evenly for pretty,fluttery lashes)  $ 6.00

6:Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara in "Black" (I love this because it can create girl next door or girl out on the town lashes without getting all smeared) $ 6.00

7: Jordana Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in "Onyx" $ 2.00 at Walgreens (THIS IS MY FAVORITE EYELINER EVERRRRR Go out and Buy NOW!!! so cheap but the quality is amazing.. Stays on forever,dosen't run and is so soft!!!)

8: Hard Candy Blush Crush Baked Blush in "Living Doll" (Great Color only qualm is that its 7.00 and in my personal opinion it would sell better if the price was more around 5.00 just what I think) $7.00

*I go back in forth between the blushes and bronzers I only wear one at a time fyi lol*

So I went to Target the other day and decided to pick up some E.L.F. products some are great some are "ehhh" so lets start off with pics:

Ok so my favorite products I picked up are : Elf Studio Blush (just enough color for my pale skin) Elf Studio Glossy Gloss (Feels great on, and the color pay off is amazing!) Elf Eyelid Primer (In my opinion its just as good as Urban Decays..at least on me) Studio Complexion perfection (makes me face look super flawless and matte)
Studio Golden Bronzer (looks great on my pale skin, not too fake.However its buildable for you gals with a deeper skin tone) Eyeshadow in Silver lining(the color pay off in this one is fantastic, in the others its still good but this ones the best pigment one) All over color stick(it gives me the perfect "summery" glow!)

What was not so great: The tone correcting concealer (Their concealers and makeup run dark,so apricot beige was waaay to dark for me and oily feeling but its a dollar so what can you expect...) Eyebrow kit (I have a love/hate relationship with this..maybe its because I look funky with eyebrows with alot of color on them since my natural haircolor is so light but all in all its great for the price if you do like your eyebrows done)

So all in all I love elf products and will be purchasing more in the future :)
 Also while at the store I picked up two more things:  NYC City Curls $3.00 (Which I love!!!)

and Neutrogena Makeup wipes $2.00 (which were very good also, it took my makeup off so well)

I joined the crowd!!

Normally that's a phrase that scares me lol BUT I've seen So, so, SO many women on youtube raving over China Glazes' "For Audrey" nail varnish. Supposedly they got permission to get the exact color of the Tiffany Box so they could replicate it. Hence the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" Reference. See, I am a sucker for anything Audrey Hepburn. I have pictures of her hanging in my house lol So one could imagine why I fell in love and had to get it for myself.You can pick it up at any sally's store $5. It's a gorgeous color and I only had to do one coat so It's a win win for me. 

I also got China Glazes' Crackle glaze in Fault Line. It's ok, I in all honesty wouldn't buy it again because its not a manicure I would want all the time. Plus it can make your nails look unkept... anyways here it is:

NOTD!! (Nail Of The Day!!!)

I have a NOTD (Nail of the day for you new beginners). It a mauvey purple with flecks of goldish reddish in it. Its Purple Reign by Pure Ice available at walmart. I love Pure Ice because its Highly pigmented and so cheap at 2.00 a bottle for .5 fl oz which isn't too bad. Only thing to look out for is that they have a "sheer" line (I hate sheer nail polish) So if you like solids take off the cap and make sure its pigmented. I made that mistake a few times with them.  

My Absolute Favorite Beauty Products!!!!

Hey guys!! So I have a favorites Post for you all! So the first thing that I am currently Raving over is "Carlene K Shine Bronzer", After MANY, MANY mistrials with Instant Tanners I was looking for something that could go on in the morning and wash off at night. So after many disapointing drugstore,mall, and online shopping I finally found Carlene K. The singer JoJo was raving about it on twitter so I decided why not and was seriously NOT let down. It is FANTASTIC!! I have no complaints about it. It smells like a vanilla cupcakem is nicely pigmented and Blends nicely. The only downside is that its 30.00 for 4 oz. So I can't afford to just keep it stocked so I only use it for special occasions :)



 My second is "Pink" perfume from VS' Pink line. What can I say I absolutely LOVE IT. I have the perfume,lotion, and glitter moisturizer.If you love girly,springy scents definitely a good buy!!

John Freida is love. I'm NOT joking I seriously owe HUGE kudos to Mr. John Frieda for my hair!! The only thing missing from his collection is shampoo for Raven hair :( With that being said his Luxurious Volume is L.O.V.E.  Makes my hair have the just right "oomph" Without making me look like Dolly Parton lol. I use the shampoo,conditioner, and mousse.

I get so many questions as to my usually nice skin. I am pretty blessed with Alabaster skin (Kudos to my Irish&German ancestry whoot-whoot lol) BUT what helps it along so well is St. Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub. You can get this also at the walmart or drugstore,is cheap, and works SO well. It gets off the dead skin, while protecting my skin,and moisturizing it.

I also get compliments on my glowy skin. My favorite blusher brand is Hard candy. This is Hide&Glow Cheek in Pillow talk. Only thing is that its 5.00 and not alot of product :( BUT I still love it non the less since I like my blush to be kind of sheer.

Hard Candys' Glow all the way. A cheaper version of Carlene K at walmart.

Maybelline Pulse Perfection in Very Black. Makes my lashes look fantastic!

Rimmel Glam Eyes Lash Flirt Volume&Lift Mascara in Intense Black. I love any eyeliner or mascara with Kohl and this has it in it so I love it:)

I really hate wearing Foundation and I don't have too much redness just on my chin is where my trouble spot is. But Revlon (which I LOVE anything from Revlon, dosen't matter what it is!)  Has an amazing Foundation called Revlon PhotoReady in Ivory. It blends right in, has little light relectors in it so it makes your face look fantastic&dewy. <3

Like I said I LOVE any eyeliners with Kohl because its soft and glides onto the skin so well. I get this from Walgreens on the front counter at the beauty cashier. Its called Jordana Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Onyx. Most DEFINITELY suggest you pick it up :)

My last thing is Nivea a kiss of moisture. I love Nivea products and this makes my lips so GORGEOUS and soft. I've had a hard time of finding it. It used to be always at walmart. All I have been able to find its sister "Nivea a kiss of smoothness" the light blue cap which is still good (more light weight feeling). I just like the dark blue cap better :)

Introduction to my Beauty Blog

Hi Dolls!! Welcome to my beauty blog!! I'm new at this so I hope I don't do too badly lol Anyways alittle about me: My name is Lerin, i'm from Missouri, Willard to be exact where the population is 3,000 including pets lol. I am currently in Fort Campbell while my husband serves in the U.S. Army as a SGT. (No hate comments on soldiers please, or they will be removed) Since I grew up on a farm hence my hobbies are farm related fourwheeler riding,horseback riding, Watching my baby neices play,having bbqs, town fests and much more it was kind of a shock to move into an apartment in the "city" if you could call it that. Some of my hobbies I can obviously still do but I was still looking for something to fill up my time and have fun at the same time.SO after reading many beauty blogs and watching COUNTLESS youtube beauty vlogers I have decided to take it up also. I've made a beauty channel on youtube but I'm getting the courage to upload the videos to the world. I'm shy and hate how my face moves when I talk. Stupid, yes I know but still lol.
